About Tim Duboyce

Tim Duboyce offers insights steeped in a rich and diverse career in journalism, corporate and philanthropic communications, and strategic consulting. Tim enjoyed an 18-year career as a reporter, producer, program host, and newsroom leader, including a decade reporting on Quebec politics at the National Assembly for CBC News.

Since 2014, Tim has provided strategic communications support in a wide range of fields, from the airline industry and agri-food to academia, philanthropy, energy, industrial safety, and labour relations. Service specialties include strategic communications planning and content development, media relations, and issues management.

Tim is boundlessly inspired by helping leaders and organizations build trust on their way to reaching their goals.

Tim grew up in Southern Ontario. As a lifelong Francophile, Tim has been privileged to call Montréal and Québec City home since 1997, developing informed perspectives on Québec’s unique cultural, political, and social landscape. When the opportunity presents itself, Tim is always pleased to serve as a bridge between the Québec media and business ecosystem and organizations operating across Canada and the United States.

Tim holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Ottawa, and a Two-Year Graduate Certificate in Print and Broadcast Journalism from Humber College in Toronto.
